Customer Review: Beware Printer Eats Ink
This would be an excellent printer if it would print in black only, but apparently it will not. After many attempts to get the printer set up to use only the black cartridge for black printing it is becoming obvious this printer was made to eat all the color tanks. I have had to replace the color inks numerous times while printing in B&W, even though Canon site claims that you can set it to use only black. It does not work. This printer is an expensive ink hog and I do not recommend it. Just my opinion of course.
Customer Review: Don’t buy this JUNK!!!!!
I have had this printer for almost a year and have spent more money on the ink tanks than the printer itself. It constantly gives error messages about the ink……this is low…..that is low….its in the wrong spot….then after taking it out and putting it in again….it will print a few pages and next day the same thing. Sometime I would not touch it and few days later it would start working again.
Once I repalced all the tanks at once just to see what happens. It worked for two day and the same thing started……………
This is the WORST printer I EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Customer Review: Canon photo printer
At first I wasn’t sure about the printer whether I liked it or not. It was the paper I used that wasn’t right. I really like my printer!
    Customer Review: A Must have
this printer does everything you would want it to do. No more seperate components to scan,it’s built in, No more seperate fax machines, does this also, also no need for a copy machine, has this also! The photo quality is excelent is beyond what you would expect in a photo smart printer, many settings for size, height and width.I canot say enough about this printer except it’s AWSOME! and the pictures come out great.you have the option of copying in black and white only or color whichever you prefere,
Great for the price as well.

Customer Review: Printer with a heart
This inkjet printer is a workhorse. I have had no problems with it. The color is true and the speed of printing is good. Price is good. I print on fabric (I’m a quilter) and this little guy works great for that.
Customer Review: Canon iP4500 — decent printer
Other reviewers have covered the essentials of this unit. So far my personal experience matches the others regarding speed and print quality. Interesting features that weren’t mentioned elsewhere include built-in image enhancement, pigment-based black ink for text printing, auto-power-off, and auto-power-on when a print job is started.

A disappointment for USA users is this: although European versions of this printer include a CD tray and can print directly onto CD/DVD’s, as confirmed by Canon tech support, a legal dispute in the US led Canon to disable (but not remove) this feature. For the adventurous, instructions for re-enabling the feature and obtaining the CD tray can be found on the Internet.

    Customer Review: Love this printer
I previously had the Canon i70 printer for about 4 years and loved it. When it finally bit the dust, I got the successor: Canon i90v. They are amazingly small for the quality print jobs. Travel well too!
Customer Review: Great printer to take on the road.
I occasionally have to take my office with me on short trips. I’d been wanting a printer that could fit in my laptop bag along with the computer and associated cables and peripherals. This one fits the bill. It’s quite compact and produces perfectly satisfactory prints. I’ve made a couple of photo prints (which are surprisingly good), but I use it principally for text. I don’t know yet how economical it will be (cost of ink cartridges), but there simply aren’t many portable printers that will produce full letter size prints as this one does. I’m very satisfied with the iP90v.

    Customer Review: Canon Beats HP
After almost a month, I am convinced that Canon makes a better printer than HP. I have owned the P1100 HP photoprinter for some years and it was only ok… The Canon Pixma MP610 has been wonderful so far, with no problems at all. It is fast, easy to install (tech support even helped me make it work with a networked Win98 computer) and has so many features for it’s relatively low price.
    Customer Review: Just too big|
I can’t speak for the quality of the printer or the output because I returned it before use - thus the average rating. The dimensions in the specifications are the closed size. When you extend the paper tray and lift the cover, its more like 22″ deep and 15″ tall. If you want both paper trays open at the same time it’s even worse. It was just too large for the only space I have for a printer in my office setup. I wasn’t ready to buy new furniture just to keep this printer. It’s a very handsome machine and has gotton many good reviews. Just make sure you have lots of room.
